We’re a bunch of Carlsbad locals working to preserve the charm and character of our beautiful community. We want to honor Carlsbad’s heritage and ensure that the city continues to be a great place to live for current and future generations.
Unfortunately there are powerful forces actively plotting to turn our lovely community into a crowded mess of high-density high-rises, putting profits over community wellbeing. This process is already well underway, and current state laws make it almost impossible for locals to fight back. If we don’t do something soon it will be too late. Carlsbad will experience explosive, uncontrolled and irreversible growth, forever ruining the community that you know and love.
Whether you’re a long time resident or a weekend visitor, please help us protect and preserve what makes Carlsbad so special. Take a moment to learn more about our work. If you think its worthwhile, consider supporting the cause by becoming an ELUA member.
